Been working still on "Over the Rainbow" and "Misty" trying to keep them freshly available to play. Voicing "My Romance," with its 15,000 chords. Its a challenge, but I'm up for it!

A good, hard working, and productive piano day.

Worked on "Misty" and "Over the Rainbow." Frustrated as parts get forgotten and/or played in the wrong song. Frustrated as I fgured out I was making mistakes in how I was playing.

Worked on voicing "My Romance." More difficult than I thought it'd be!

Ironically, encouraged listening to Sudnow's talks! This is something that ain't gonna happen overnight, and I'm taking the leap of faith in trusting his Method. Encouraged and motivated.

New Goal: By 9/16/10, I'll have 15 to 20 songs in hand.

Wish there was more time to practice, but life just takes over......

Hoping to get a little something done tonight and maybe more tomorrow as schedule frees up some tomorrow.

Listened to some Sudnow stuff today about polychords/arpeggios that was cool.

Did I say that i wish that there was more time to practice?

Having an ABSOLUTE BLAST with the Sudnow Method.

Things sound so beautiful, and things flow much better, when using David Sudnow's rules instead of doing things my way. How this guy put together this Method is just genius. It so deceptively simple yet absolutely powerful.

Taking it slow, making no time to assess my progress until I'm done 20 songs.

Just trusting the "Sudnow Method" and just doing it and not assessing it is the goal.
