This blog is about me and my music. My current focus is on learning piano using the Sudnow Method and guitar improvisation. I currently play guitar in a band that concentrates on playing the early rock and roll of the 50’s and 60’s. I also play guitar in a trio setting that focuses more on the jazzy side. Seemingly irrelevant posts on this blog reflect topics that are probably expressed in my music somewhere.

Day 10
Up to page 47 of the Method Book. In a previous post, I mentioned reading a book about sight reading. I decided I hate that book. Maybe soon I'll get some supplemental stuff. Off Topic: Found out today that an old friend died. Sad stuff.
Thanks Mike. I worked with him in the late 80's. He also had me over his home a lot in the early 90's. He and his wife were very warm and generous. Please keep him (Larry) and his family (son, wife and mom) in your prayers. He died of a sudden heart attack at age 59. Thanks man!
