This blog is about me and my music. My current focus is on learning piano using the Sudnow Method and guitar improvisation. I currently play guitar in a band that concentrates on playing the early rock and roll of the 50’s and 60’s. I also play guitar in a trio setting that focuses more on the jazzy side. Seemingly irrelevant posts on this blog reflect topics that are probably expressed in my music somewhere.

Hello to the UK !
One of my piano buddies lives in the UK and gave me some very good feedback about my Over the Rainbow. In essence, the feedback consisted of the opinion that sometimes it was too dissonant. So I played around with the song today. I concluded that sometimes I can use the dissonance when I'm in the mood or when there's a big chord out there; on the other hand, I don't always have to cluster every note. Thanks to my UK Piano Buddy!
