Good day of practice. Started working on the Advent song using the Assembly Line; also added another 1/2 measure to the Gypsy Jazz "All of Me" improv. I like how the improv book uses the technique of memorizing licks rather than scales; also it talks about when each lick is appropriate (over a major chord, dominant chord, etc.).
Looks like my alma mater Florida State University is making a run for the National Title in football. Fear the spear!
