Contemplation

After some online discussion and contemplation, I think I'll do the following for a year:

1) LEARN TO IMPROVISE
How??? Using the Charlie Christian book to get some foundation in the style I love. Using the IFR book to learn how to create music. Maybe some transcribing from recordings of improvisers (like Louis Armstrong!) Improvising over play alongs. PLAYING THE GUITAR.

2) CHORD MELODY
Keep using the Conti materials.
