Next Steps

Just kind of thinking out loud. I think it's more fun to learn how to solo than it is learning chord melody. So here's a preliminary plan:

Concentrate On:

1) Start using the new Charlie Christian book and really try to work through it.

2) Continue to learn from the material in the Jazz Improvisation course.

3) Learn the pentatonic scale all over the fretboard

When I Get Bored With the Above, Take a Break, and:

1) Get into the chord melody book.

2) Get into the piano by using my book that teaches how to play from a fakebook.
